SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Expressed in oocytes. Highly expressed in granulosa cells.
PTM: Not glycosylated (Probable).
DISRUPTION PHENOTYPE: Reduction in the fecundity of female mice and their eggs have impaired ability to fuse with sperm.
